Nashers 9 Mo. Stats

Today we went to the Dr.s for N's 9 months stats. We also go two shots :( But... HE DIDN'T cry! and BryLee got a flu shot.. and she didn't cry either! my brave kiddos :) ANYWAYS... here are his stats

Height-29 3/4 in. 95%


Weight- 20.2 lbs 50%


Head- 46 3/4 90%


He's tall and skinny with a big head. go figure :/


BUT we LOVE him so so so so much. And He is SO SO SO cute :)

A Halloween never to forget..

This Halloween was especially special this year. We started out the day at my Aunt Cathy's funeral. It was the most lovely funeral i've been to. I felt the spirit so stong there and everyone else in that chapel did too. Her family made it so special. You could only feel the love that everyone had for Cathy. She was such a great mom, wife and grandma. She will be missed. But she is in a place of no pain or suffering anymore, and she is so happy right now. I know that she is with her family always. She was truly a special person and she will never be forgotten. my thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the Haugh Family for peace and comfort.

We then headed home to get the kids down for naps. BryLee got maybe and hour nap..which works I guess. We woke them up and headed for my sister Jaime's In laws nieghborhood. They have food and everything set up. So we fuel up on hotdogs and chili then head off into the nieghborhood to get some candy! It was fun for the kids.. they had a good time!

When we got home I kept the lights off cause I didn't buy any candy for trick or treaters cause i didn't think we'd be home till late. But sure enought they still knocked on my door. 8 of them! so i took BryLee's candy out of her own stash and gave it out to the kids. SSSHHHH she'll never know. Plus, she does not need all that candy!

E-I-G-H-T!!

Totally missed Nash's 8 month post.. but its never to late to write it down! He turned 8 months on Oct 4th. He has the most energy out of any baby I have ever seen! He is always moving whether it be his arm and legs are flying all over the place or jumping up in his exersaucer or rolling and rolling on the ground. He isn't crawling yet.. just scoots to get around and rolls to anything he wants. I don't think he really has any desire to crawl...FINE BY ME! With BryLee I wanted her to crawl and walk fast, but I have learned my lesson to not make them grow up too fast :) Bry crawled at 6 months though.. so he is 2 months behind! But I know it wont be long till he is chasing her to get his toy back that she took from him, and probably hit him with :) Nash is the SWEETEST boy ever. Here are some stats-

-19lbs

-sleeps from 9 to 9

-4 teeth, 2 top 2 bottom

-eats like a mad man... 5-8 cans of food, and 32 oz of formula, and loves puffs and fishies.

-naps 2-3 times a day.. (i see him for like 5 hours a day cause he sleeps so much)

-smiles non stop! only cries when he is tired, hungry, or poopy ;)

-still has the funniest laugh ever

-loves tv!! especially yo gabba gabba

*he is such a special boy and he is very loved! just stop growing SO fast!!!



Bry would feel left out if I didn't post a pic of her. She is the same ol Diva she has been for the last year. We love her, but she is SOO much work! haha. But she is such a beautiful girl! we love her wonderful sense of style and her sassy but sweet at the same time charm.

what she is up too-

-knows abc's

-knows all her colors

-can count to 20 with a lil help after 15.

-has the most creative imagination! she turns her biten into sandwiches into a boat. she turns her dress fabric into bunny ears.. and she draws to lines to make a slide and makes her pencil slide down it.

-getting better with potty training. she is usually 100% with me, but if she is at someone else's house or has friends over..sometimes she forgets to tell me. But that will come with time!

-loves playing hide and seek

-always wants to play kitchen and 'go shopping' (grandma j's game)

-she sings at the top of her lungs (which unfortunetly isn't very good) and she dances and dances around the house all day long. and pounds on the piano at any given chance.

-she has to sing three songs before bed..usually sunbeeps (sunbeams), tomorrow i'll love ya, and itsy bitsy spider.

- she loves nursery!!!

Mr. C is currently in the ICU and this is SO scary for anyone! Alex is my dear friend since I was 2. And I know if I were in her exact position she would be writing this post as well.

Nate has been alive for 28 YEARS! And I am so glad I have gotten to spend the last 4 with him :) He has been my best friend and we have been pretty much inseperable since we first met! He still makes me laugh and smile. I really do appreciate him in many many ways. He works hard at work, and still makes plenty of time for his family. I know he will be so involved in his kids lives and I can't wait for him to coach Nash's Basketball teams, and he will be at every dance recital of BryLees (or which ever activity they choose to do ;) ). Thanks Nate for being such a good Husband and Father! And we Hope you have the best day you could possibly have for your Birthday. Love you!

ALOHA!

Nate and I just got back from a 9 day stay in Maui! it was amazing to say the least :) We missed out kids like crazy..but we enjoyed every minute of that hawaiian air. The weather behaved the whole time and was sunny and warm..but not too warm..just perfect. We stayed right on kaanapali beach in Lahaina. I loved the pool at our resort, and the beach was so nice. Its weird to be in the ocean water that you can see your foot at the bottom. The water is so clear blue its crazy! We snorkeled a few different places, but our favorite was right out side our hotel called Black Rock. We saw lots of Turtles and Lots of Manta Ray.. lets just say they were cool from a far.. when they got close I swam like i've never swam before.. strait to shore! of course Nate stayed to take pics. The Things are HUGE!!! They can be up to 3000 lbs and their wing span can be 20-25ft long. I don't think these guys were quite that large..but they were still ginormas!The first time we saw them they were at the very bottom skimming the sand. The 2nd time, my goggles were kind of foggy so i couldn't see super well.. i looked in the distance to see this mysterous black object gliding at me.. sure enough 4 of them at eye level. Never been so scared in my life. I know they are harmless.. but still COME ON! That was my last time out to snorkel. We also got to enjoy Parasailing. That was a lot of fun! we were up about 500 ft above the water. Its so peaceful up there.. all you hear is the wind, and you can see through the blue blue water. It was so pretty. We also went Ziplining in Phiiolo.. that was fun too! the 1st zipline i wasn't scared.. the rest.. i totally was. i dunno why i always 2nd guess before I go.. is my chain gonna come undone, is my harnest gonna snap? I have never been like this in my life! i'm usually the one saying LETS DO IT!! maybe its the MOM in me? who knows? Needless to say.. we both gained about 6 lbs while there.. we didn't skim on food one bit. It was fun to try all the different restraunts. Most were delicious! We got to go to the Old Lahiana Luau which was really cool. Minus the PIGS they cooked in the ground and showed us before they shredded it for dinner. Not in my menu after that. Poor Pigs.

Our flight home was a nightmare. We left at 1030 pm (130 am az time) got in at 730 am. Neither of us slept.. is it just me or do airplanes have WAY less room then they used too?? Neither of our legs fit right, and you can't even rest your head on the tray anymore.. its too small! not to mention Nate had to sit by a big samoan woman.. nicest lady ever.. but lets just say he didn't have an arm rest the whole flight. Right when we got home, Nash woke up, then Bry. Luckily a miracle.. they both took a 3 hr nap!! so we took a snoozer.

A special thanks to Patrice, Jaime and Scott, and My mom and Dad for watching the kids while we were gone! The kids didn't even miss us. All BryLee cared about were the gifts we brought home :/ oh well I think I remember waiting till my parents got home for those gifts too! :) Enjoy some of the pics! Sorry to ramble.

Buddy Buddy is 6 months!

Nash is now 6 months! where did the time go?? He is eating all new kinds of food, and he can't get enough! BryLee was rather picky..and she still is :/ I hope this good eater sticks! We went to the dr and had his check up.

Weight - 17.2 lbs 50%
Height - 27.5 oz 75%-90%
Head - 45 cm 75%-90%

So He is a growing boy! atleast he isn't in the 25% for his weight and 90% for height.. he is evening out a bit!

I recently tried to take him off his Prevacid for his acid reflux but no such luck.. he cries and cries. his poor belly :/ So we are back on the meds and we are sticking to it for awhile longer till it goes away.. hopefully soon!

He is sitting up like a big boy now, and he loves it! He has the occasional fall over when he clunks pretty hard.. good thing for carpet!

He is cooing and gooing all the time, and he has the BEST laugh ever..its hilarious! its not even a laugh, its more like a kkkkkkkkkkgggggkkkkk. I can't describe it haha.

ps. yes his eyes are always that big ;) i wonder if he has a headache all the time? hhmmm??
