I just couldn't believe my ears! I was at a church meeting when all of our phones buzzed at the same time with text messages! The first thing we all thought was, he has got to be so happy to be with his wife right now :) Me and my partners in my calling talked and shared stories about him which i actually learned a story that i thought i should share with everyone. We all know how much he loved and missed his wife Marjorie Pay, right?..

(at her funeral)A sister i work with actually moved here two years ago from salt lake city and she was in Pres Hinckley's ward. She said that after Sister Hinckley had passed away he didn't come to church for 8 weeks! Usually he sat on the stand, and she sat in the back with security. One sunday they were passing the sacrament and the bishop pointed for the boys to go to the back, so everyone turned around and there Pres Hinckley was sitting in her seat. That story just brought tears to my eyes, he missed her so much! He's lived years without her now and they are finally reunited!
I love all the things that he taught me, and i loved that he really focused alot on the youth.
Now we get to look forward to another Prophet to learn and grown from.
here's a fav picture of mine.. just shows is loveable humor

thanks for posting that. that was a neat story i had never heard before and i didnt know she had security with her. i love the inside scoop. He will be missed for sure. I loved how he talked, it was like he was talking directly to you with no big parables or anything just straight to the point with a little humor in it - i loved it!
What a wonderful short, sweet, and direct tribute to our prophet. Thank-you, Jenn. He will be sorely missed!
