We had Nate's friends from High school over then other night, and their lovely ladies too :) It was a lot of fun! We had some yummy appetizers like chips and salsa(best salsa ever! ), this delicious bean dip(thanks to andrea..by the way i need that recipe!!) and yummy guacamole thanks to andrea also!!! Then we ate some Enchiladas and man i was SO stuffed. The night ended with a live band playing in our own family room! jk...ok ok but these guys are like big kids, and i just laughed to myself the whole time. Nate and Ryan are quite the singers ;) We played Guitar Hero till we couldn't anymore and they all went home. thanks everyone for coming over!
We decided to be brave and take BryLee to the movies for the first time. If anyone knows her, she will sit and watch Dora for hours if you'll let her, and if you try to get her attention while she's watching it...well good luck! So I was convinced she would sit still during a movie. And.....SHE DID! she did so good and we had so much fun! Now that can be something fun we do as a lil family...well before Nash gets to that age where he won't sleep through anything anymore...
now I can't wait till i can take her to get her nails done with me :)
thanks to everyone who sent me emails and texts with your numbers! i don't feel so lost anymore :/

Cute BryLee... how fun that you got to take her to her first movie! My kids loved Madagascar too! Me too. :) Mia actually did pretty good when we took her and all the kids... nice that it was a kid movie with a lot of noise anyway. She fell asleep at the end. :o)
We took Rilyn to that too. She made it an hour before we had to walk to the bottom and watch standing up. Isn't it fun now that they're getting older. Rilyn has that same shirt that Brylee was wearing. I love it!!
OH man we were sad we missed that get together. Maybe another time cause it looks and sounds like it was a fun time. Oh and how nice that Brylee sat thru that whole movie. I often wonder if Ryken would do it. She is such a doll!
We attempted to take Ethan, well Mike did while I played Bunco and it was a no go he would not sit still at all even with loads of popcorn and candy little stinker! I thought he would love it but apparently I was wrong Mike said he sat though about the first 10 mins then he was done ha ha at least I wasn't there! LOL
Isn't it fun as they get older and you can do more things with them? I always wanted Tylie to stay a little baby but I realize it gets so fun as they grow up. I can't wait to get my nail done with my girl too!

I can't believe that she sat through a movie! Yazee loves to watch her little shows, but a movie theatre, not so sure she'd last. Hmm.. maybe we'll have to try it.
